Darling Tallulah turned one year old! Scott and Skye wanted pictures at Waverly, a special place where they met and later married. As you can see, Tallulah is happy and totally adorable. In the first picture, you can see how much she’s grown since she was 3 months old. Cherish the moments!
Some friendships are for a season; others, for a lifetime. Kate’s mother, Lynn, and I became instant friends many years ago, so shooting Kate and Chris’s Flora, Illinois wedding with my daughter, Rachel, of Rachel O’Neal Photography, was a delight! Kate was truly a happy bride, smiling and laughing all day. Kate shared her special day with a host of precious nieces, beautifully adorned in satin and tulle. The wedding party pictures were at Kate’s parent’s home, a gorgeous venue, since she and Chris did not share a “first look” before their ceremony. At the reception, you will see a photo of Kate and her Dad dancing; in the background are Kate’s mother, Lynn, and Lynn’s father, enjoying the moment. Tallulah woke up from her nap smiling! She was amazed by the bubbles, and in the 4th photo she’s sharing a tiny blade of grass. Star and Skye were both on hand to help change Tallulah into her darling outfits, while “Patches,” the bear, kept her company. The rocker belonged to Scott, and the table and chairs were made by Skye’s great great uncle! Enjoy this precious lump of sugar!
Photographing my nephew, Blake, and his wife, Maddi, on their wedding day–shooting with my daughter, Rachel, of Rachel O’Neal Photography–was a marvelous treat! The happy couple’s nuptials were held at Southpoint Fellowship Church in Locust Grove, Georgia. This unique sanctuary was a perfect fit for Blake and Maddi’s style of ceremony and for the reception as well. The “first look” location was a particularly lovely spot that was selected by the bride and was a surprise to her groom. I hope you enjoy the photos and perhaps also get some ideas to use if you have a special wedding day ahead!
