The many faces of precious Luna!
Baby David’s story is one of those iconic treasures that we love to hear and retell. He was born on his mother’s birthday! Mckenzie contacted her husband David, who was in military training at Ft. Bragg, NC, to let him know he needed to travel to Columbus, Georgia. David made it in time for the birth of his namesake, also named after David’s great uncle– a military man, pictured in the nursery below. With David on leave for only 10 days, the couple is making the most of every minute together. The baby’s outfits both belonged to Mckenzie when she was a baby; the blue gown was made by her grandmother before she passed away. Clearly, this couple adores their firstborn! Blessings on this precious family and their adventure together!
The elegant Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida was the site of Rhonda & Steve’s wedding. Referred to as “The Pink Palace,” this oceanfront location was sensational! The torrential rain in the morning did not deter Rhonda’s determination to continue with plans for the outdoor, afternoon event. Although the first look was moved inside to the lovely, Presidential-air ballroom, the ceremony was held in the lovely courtyard, without rain! Rhonda’s and Steve’s sons, her daughter, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter made up the wedding party. Rhonda & Steve’s gifts to each other–the handsome cuff links for him and the bracelet Steve had designed for her–are pictured below. The guests enjoyed dancing, the entertaining “shoe game,” and visiting with friends on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Shooting with my daughter, Rachel, (Rachel O’Neal Photography) made the event even more special! Congratulations to the happy couple!
Emily was the epitome of a serene Bride! She and her sister, Liz, are totally devoted to each other, and the day was filled with a spirit of peace. James was such a happy groom who never seemed to tire of having photos made with Emily. The record-breaking 105 degree heat did not dampen the joyfulness of this wedding party. Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Louis was an incredibly beautiful location for the ceremony. Nearby Washington University was the fabulous site for the bridal couple and bridal party photos. Shooting with my daughter, Rachel of Rachel O’Neal Photography is always a treat for me! The memories we made with this welcoming, loving family will be cherished. Thank you to the the bridal party and the families for the blessed opportunity to share your special day with you!
Some people come into our lives, and a lasting bond is formed; such is the case with Morgan’s family. Having known the bride for the past 8 years, getting to shoot her wedding was both an honor and a delight! Morgan’s joy was contagious! She and Josh were married at Pierce Chapel, the bride’s lifelong church home. The bracelet Morgan is wearing was a gift from Morgan’s maternal grandmother before she passed away. Morgan’s 90-year-old maternal grandfather (pictured below) made the trip from Tennessee for the special day. The reception was held at The Columbus Museum, a beautiful venue. Rachel (Rachel O’Neal Photography) and I were treated like family as we spent the day with this loving couple!
